Mama Ds Coffee in Waukesha is looking for a manager to join our 22 person strong team of baristas. We are located at 928 N. Hartwell Avenue, Waukesha. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and engaged.

About Us: Mama D's Coffee is a beloved local coffee shop known for serving delicious espresso beverages and fresh bakery items along with soups and sandwiches. We are committed to providing exceptional customer service and a welcoming atmosphere for our community. As we expand our team, we are looking for a dedicated and dynamic manager to help lead our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and scheduling. Assist in hiring, training and supervising staff, fostering a positive team environment.
  • Customer Service: Ensure all customers have an excellent experience by providing friendly, efficient and knowledgeable service.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards for our menu and beverage service, presentation and consistency.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Produce and analyze profit and loss reports

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a coffee shop or similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for coffee.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of financial management and inventory control.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced (fun) environment.
