2nd shift Utility Quality Inspector
$1500 SIGN ON BONUS PAID OUT AFTER 3 MONTHS
SUMMARY
Coordinates movement of parts through inspection operations and back into production based on immediate priorities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES include the following.
· Blue Light Scanning, CMM Operator, Shot Peen Operator
· Basic inspection equipment – calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.
· Receiving inspection, a plus
· Moves parts through operations to next operations, communication with other departments as needed.
· Identifies anomalies and makes every effort to solve issues (missing parts, missing paperwork, misplaced orders, etc.).
· Supports other PC functions (such as locating and identifying orders as needed, etc…).
· Able to lift 25 lbs. routinely.
· Additional duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE including Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
· Proven attendance record
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be fluent in English with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret a variety of materials, documents, etc. as required. Must be able to respond to inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Uses addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers including decimals and fractions. Uses simple formulae, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules. Checks reports, forms, records and comparable data where interpretation is required involving basic skills knowledge.
REASONING ABILITY:
Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
