Description:

  • Successful candidate for this role will perform the planning, evaluation, analysis, and recommendation of technical computing products on large, complex projects - recognized as an expert throughout the company.
  • provide the highest level technical product support including response to user questions, installation, system monitoring, testing, problem diagnosis, tracking, resolution, and routine maintenance.
  • Facilitate and perform the delivery of technical services including the preparation of alternative solutions and technical recommendations.
  • Formulate and direct the preparation of technical procedures, documentation, manuals, and reports.
  • Maintain broad technical industry knowledge and broad understanding of our internal infrastructure.
  • Mentor and provide functional/technical leadership and work direction to staff.

Essential Job Functions & Tasks:

  • Exhibits master level proficiency in system administration and automation; exhibits expert level knowledge of one or more specific technical areas that enables the administrator to serve as the highest level resource in that area throughout the company.
  • Must have experience with python, SQL, and UiPath (or similar automation technology)
  • Provides input into related technology strategy to management.
  • Provides expert insight into problem resolution calls working closely with software and hardware vendors.
  • Helps the team to access proactively key measurement data and suggests ways to utilize information for enhanced performance.
  • Reviews procedures and documentation to ensure technology remains current


Minimum Requirements:

  • Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering related field Or Associate's degree with 2 years' system administration related experience Or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years' system administration related experience.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years System Administration related experience (in addition to any experience identified in the education requirements above).
