Project Coordinator
This is an entry level position as an Assistant to Project Managers and Senior Engineer.

Primary Job Responsibilities
• Schedule projects as required using CPM program, work with Project Managers to develop the
schedule and do updates as required by contracting agencies.
• Small Project Management
o Coordinate smaller projects with owner or contracting agency.
o Attend preconstruction and weekly meetings as required.
o Contact and meet with utility companies to locate their buried services prior to start of construction.
o Schedule survey crew or perform own layout for grade control from plan.
o Set up traffic control as required.
o Work with Project Managers to schedule crews as needed.
o Initiate billing or estimates in a timely manner.
o Oversee the finalizing process, punch lists, final quantities, etc.
• Assist Contracts Administrator in verifying quantities and collecting reports from Superintendents.
• Assist engineering team in bidding small projects by site visits and measuring for quantity determination.
• Assist Project Managers and engineering team in the submittal process, assist in obtaining material certifications, test results, catalog cuts, etc.
• Deliver bids to contracting agency or owners as requested.
• Deliver materials or parts to jobsite as required on an emergency basis.
• Correspondence with subcontractors, suppliers, or contracting agencies as required by the Project Managers and estimating team.
• Quality assurance procedures including being familiar with specifications and assist superintendents in procuring plans and appropriate specifications for individual projects. Work with other Strata divisions to insure use of specified materials and mix designs.

Education/Experience:
• Two year degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• Secondary education in Accounting, Engineering, or Business preferred.
• No experience required, but combination of experience and education could preclude the requirement for a degree. Proficient in computer operation.

Compensation:
Compensation package is dependent upon qualifications and experience

Must possess current valid driver license and pass pre-employment drug testing and background check.
