Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Stockroom Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring the stockroom is organized, and supporting the overall efficiency of our retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and process incoming shipments
- Organize and maintain the stockroom to ensure a clean and orderly environment
- Stock shelves and replenish inventory on the sales floor
- Track inventory levels and report discrepancies to management
- Assist with inventory counts and audits
- Ensure accurate labeling and tagging of merchandise
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient stock management
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus
- Proven experience as a Stockroom Clerk, Stock Associate, or in a similar role
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods
