Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, ductwork, and thermostats. If you have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, refrigeration, and blueprint reading, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in commercial settings.
  • Set up air conditioners, furnaces, ductwork, and thermostats.
  • Understand various HVAC systems (split systems, packaged units, heat pumps).
  • Wire HVAC systems according to local electrical codes.
  • Knowledge of electrical circuits, voltage, and current.
  • Handle refrigerants and understand refrigeration cycles.
  • EPA certification for handling refrigerants is required.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams for HVAC installation.
  • Understand construction plans and specifications.
  • Test HVAC systems for proper operation.
  • Diagnose and fix installation issues.

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure precise installations.
  • Problem-solving skills to quickly identify and address installation challenges.
  • Effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Time management skills to complete installations within project timelines.
  • Excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manual dexterity to handle tools and small components accurately.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, tight spaces).
  • EPA Certification for handling refrigerants.
  • Completion of an accredited HVAC training program.
  • Ongoing education to stay current with industry advancements.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
  • Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Risk assessment skills to identify and mitigate potential hazards on the job site.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in commercial HVAC installation and maintenance.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to continue learning and improving skills.
