Job Title: Master Electrician for Sid Grinker Restoration


Job Summary:

Sid Grinker Restoration is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial buildings. The Master Electrician will also be responsible for supervising and training other electricians on the team.


Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial buildings
  • Supervise and train other electricians on the team
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local and national electrical codes
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Stay updated and read the job schedule, scope, and documents laid out by the project and/or service manager and customer
  • Ensure you have the proper materials and tools to perform the work at each job safely prior to the scheduled date/time
  • Ability to learn and utilize through training a variety of testing equipment including Infrared Cameras, DLRO, TTR, Ultrasonic, Megger (insulation resistance)
  • Working with both the management team and apprentices, working safely and efficiently at all times
  • Communicating work progress/changes with the customer, office and/or manager
  • Create and provide timely work orders to support accurate and timely invoicing to the customer




Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program and a valid Master Electrician license
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Master Electrician
  • Strong knowledge of local and national electrical codes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
