Position Overview: Bridor is seeking a dynamic and creative Sales Market Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the VP of Sales - Central Region, you will leverage your culinary expertise and business acumen to drive sales and market growth for our artisan bread and pastry products. This role requires a unique combination of creativity in pastry creation, artisan bread knowledge, strategic sales and marketing thinking, and relationship-building skills to expand our market presence. You will be instrumental in developing innovative offerings, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering strong client relationships to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Pastry Creation and Innovation:

    • Develop innovative and appealing recipes to differentiate our products in the market.
    • Stay updated on culinary trends, flavor profiles, and presentation techniques.
  2. Sales Strategy Development:

    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create comprehensive sales strategies and business development plans.
    • Identify target markets, customer segments, and distribution channels to maximize sales opportunities.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Engage with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and challenges.
    • Conduct product demonstrations, tastings, and presentations to showcase the quality and versatility of Bridor products.
  4. New Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships with restaurants, cafes, hotels, and other retail outlets.
    • Develop strategic alliances and collaborations to expand market reach.
  5. Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Secure feedback from clients and industry stakeholders to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  6. Sales Support and Training:

    • Provide support to the sales team by assisting with customer inquiries, preparing sales proposals, and conducting product training sessions.
    • Share expertise in pastry-making techniques and product features to enhance the sales team's knowledge.
  7. Quality Assurance and Product Development:

    • Work closely with the culinary team to improve product quality and innovation.
    • Ensure adherence to quality standards in pastry and bread production.
  8. Travel and Flexibility:

    • Occasional travel to client locations, industry events, and trade shows.
    • Work hours may vary, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client meetings and sales events.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years in culinary positions, wholesale, retail, or foodservice experience, CPG.
  • Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker, combined with sales or business development experience in the food industry.Skills:
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Creative flair and innovation in pastry design and flavor development.
  • Knowledge of market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility to travel and engage with clients and participate in sales activities.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Teams, OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience using sales tracking software.
  • Strong communication, sales planning, and industry knowledge.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and BRC standards.

  • Competitive salary ranging from $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
