  • Direct the day-to-day coordination of all contractors and their sub-contractors to ensure safety, production, quality and schedules are maintained.
  • Communicate with the project team and support each subcontractor to execute the specified scope of work successfully.
  • Perform inspections or schedule inspectors
    to meet the safety and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain a written daily report of all site activities, visitors, inspections and so forth.
  • Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organizing meetings and cooperating with team members in various roles as needed.
  • Set an example in keeping the job site organized and clean, including meeting standards for waste disposal and environmental protection and safety.
  • Coordinate the updated contract documents and be able to plan and problem solve.
  • Record all deviations from plan in a project “red-line” set of documents.
  • Ensure all work is performed to proper QAQC standards.
  • Maintain a log of QAQC inspections, including – but not limited to – test reports, concrete tickets, proctor values, passed/failed inspections and so forth.
  • Ensure all contractors maintain and follow OSHA standards and The ICC Group’s safety policies.
  • Conduct a weekly 15-minute toolbox safety talk with subcontractor’s and project team.
  • Lead subcontractor weekly progress meetings and actively participate in Owner/Architect Meetings
  • Ability to follow CPM work schedules and communicate the construction plan with all contractors.
  • Maintain daily reports and other required documentation for the Project.
  • Site planning and site logistics
  • Oversee project quality plan.
  • Provide documented daily reporting.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience as an On-Site Project Manager/Project Superintendent on $5 Million or larger commercial construction project projects.
  • BS or AS in Construction Management or an engineering discipline in addition to experience preferred – or equivalent field experience.
  • Solid experience in leading commercial, industrial, facility or warehousing projects is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to read, analyze and interpret construction documents, review submittals for accuracy and compliance, prepare contracts for execution, prepare change directives, prepare financial updates, project scheduling with cost loading and close out documents.
  • Ability to write reports and professional correspondence to vendors, government officials, and clients.
  • Excellent verbal communications skills, especially when addressing customers, clients or official visitors to the jobsite.
  • Experience with managing demanding clients and offering creative solutions to meet commitments and requests.
  • Experience in Design/Build & CM@R Projects.
  • Experience in Distilling & Brewing, Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Health/Beauty/Consumer Goods and Custom-Engineered Steel Buildings is a plus.
  • CCM Certification or the ability to obtain accreditation within 120 days of employment.
  • OSHA 10 HR Certified or the ability to obtain accreditation within 120 days of employment.
  • OSHA 30 HR Certified or the ability to obtain accreditation within 120 days of employment.
  • Red Cross AED and First Aid Certification a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Project, and Excel with a working knowledge of BlueBeam and Procore
