rEvolution is seeking an Associate Director, Client Finance, to join our growing sports marketing agency. In this role, reporting to the VP, Finance, you will be responsible for leading US client finance to provide key financial analysis of our client portfolios.

 

You Will:

  • Work closely with VP, Finance on all aspects of client month end close and monthly AR and revenue recognition review.
  • Monitor and manage client billing and invoicing to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Establish strong working relationships with Account Leads while acting as their main point of contact for any questions regarding their budget and financials.
  • Provide client financial analysis in the review of monthly results during month end P&L meetings safeguarding teams understand their margin and client direct expenses
  • Ensure Agency is following current contractual client guidelines and has a consistent approach/application of best practices across clients on all financial matters.
  • Provide monthly margin variance analysis commentary for the executive playbook
  • Instrumental in make sure the working forecast is updated and accurate at all times as well as coordinate and lead the annual budget process alongside FP&A team
  • Maintain catalog of all client-specific reporting requirements and ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure projects are set up correctly to adhere to our reporting structure and approve expense reports as it relates to projects to ensure they are within budget and have attached receipts.

 

You Have:

 

  • 7+ years of financial experience, preferably in an advertising agency or related industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or a related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills (Strong Excel skills a must, including but not limited to, use of intermediate formulas (VLOOKUPs, IF/Then), pivot tables, referencing data and filtering)
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • The highest degree of accuracy with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial and accounting concepts/policies.
  • Comfort problem-solving independently using online resources.
  • Adaptability to different financial systems (experience in NetSuite, Deltek Workbook and Adaptive Planning a plus).

 

This hybrid role is based in our fabulous Chicago office but has a global reach.
