Accounts Payable SpecialistPosition Location

Job Squad is currently looking for a Accounts Payable Specialist.SummaryThe Accounts Payable Specialist supports the North American accounts payable/receivable activities. The Accounts Payable Specialist is customer focused, works quickly with little to no errors and operates in a timely fashion. The Accounts Payable Specialist is a vital part of keeping business activities current and compliant. Responsibilities
  1. Manage daily AP inbox by reviewing invoices, routing to proper folders and ensuring the inbox is maintained and cleared out by the end of every day.
  2. Accurately record vendor invoices.
  3. Vendor setup and maintenance.
  4. Create Purchase Orders and Change Orders.
  5. Collaborating daily with the Accounting team, Manager of Shared Services, Project Managers, and Engineers.
  6. Owning Accounts Payable between company and our suppliers and sub-contractors.
  7. Monitor and follow-up on open Purchase Orders for project reporting.
  8. Assist with month-end close.
  9. Assist in various ad-hoc projects.
  10. Provide direction and guidance in proper AP/AR procedures.
  11. Ensure activities are completed in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  1. At least 2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable.
  2. Comfort with working in a fast-paced transaction-driven environment.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  4. A quick learner, a self-starter, able to work independently, and willing (and able) to handle the pressures of an increasing level of responsibility.
  5. Can take on multiple projects/tasks and problem solve.
  6. Proficiency with MS office suite.
  7. Ability to follow up on pending issues and meet deadlines.
  8. Customer-focused work ethic.
  9. Detail-oriented.
  10. Ability to complete tasks with little to no errors.
  11. Ability to work quickly and accurately in a supportive manufacturing role
  12. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Hours
  1. 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  2. 3 Days in Office, 2 Days at Home
Pay
  1. $22.00-$25.00 DOE
