Job Summary: The Staff Accountant is responsible for completing the monthly closing processes for divisional and corporate entities. Review and prepare journal entries, analyze and publish financial statements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Prepare journal entries that meet accounting standards.

· Prepare and analyze financial Statements for multiple divisions.

· Research inventory cost and provide cost analysis monthly.

· Support D365 ERP system help desk, answering questions from all divisions.

· Participate in departmental projects as requested.

· Maintain subsidiary ledgers to included fixed asset maintenance and lease accounting.

· Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Education and Experience:

· Minimum Associate Degree in accounting or finance, Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.

· One or more years of accounting experience required, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment.

· Experience with Microsoft D365 a plus.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Exceptional problem-solving abilities with good organizational skills

· Ability to apply generally accepted accounting principles.

· Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.

· Availability for occasional overnight travel is possible with this position.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ambition to work independently with minimal supervision.
