We seek a Lifeguard to join our New Orleans Jewish Community Center team.  As a Lifeguard, your primary responsibilities will be ensuring the safety of all patrons at the pool.
 

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for ensuring the safety of all patrons at the pools.
  •  Must evaluate and resolve emergencies.
  •  Must conduct safety checks, check and record chemical levels, and help maintain the cleanliness of pool areas.
  •  Must perform appropriate rescues and perform first aid when necessary.
  •  Must report and document all injuries and rescues to the Aquatics Director.
  •  Must be able to operate a handicap lift at any time.
  •  Must attend and participate in mandatory bi-weekly staff meetings.
  •  Must be professional and alert at all times.
  •  Must be able to implement and enforce the Test, Mark & Protect policy.
  •  Must be Rescue Ready.
  •  Must be on time for scheduled shifts.
