Product Marketing Manager – Texas Speed Location


Texas Speed and Performance, a leader in the LSx industry, is based out of Georgetown, Texas. We offer

all levels of aftermarket performance products, from basic air induction and exhaust, to cylinder heads,

camshafts, custom engines, and more. We carry Texas Speed manufactured product lines and offer

third-party products shipped out of our on-site distribution center. Many of our Texas Speed branded

products are made in-house, as we have manufacturing capabilities for cylinder heads, engine

assemblies, and camshaft grinding on-site at our facility.


We are looking for strong candidates to join the team as we add Ford and Mopar/Hemi product

offerings to our lineup of high-quality, results-backed products. Together we will make Texas Speed &

Performance the leader in late-model, American V8 aftermarket performance products.

The Product Marketing Manager works on behalf of Texas Speed & Performance to promote the brand

through our social media platforms. In this role, the Product Marketing Manager will coordinate the

activities of the Social Media team to properly promote and grow the TSP brand and products. They will

work closely with members of the Product, Sales, and Research & Development teams to define and

execute on product marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, promote new product releases,

and increase engagement on our social channels within the late model, domestic aftermarket

community.


The Product Marketing Manager will ensure that the key elements of our brand (our ties to the

enthusiast community, our tenets of being customer focused, making work enjoyable for our associates,

and creating win-win partnerships with vendors) are regularly presented on all available marketing

channels (email, social, YouTube, etc.).


Additionally, the Product Marketing Manager will be the point-of-contact for all of our TSP market

influencers and work with them to promote the brand while ensuring an ROI on our sponsorship

investments.

Requirements:

Specific Duties


  • Responsible for the overall TSP New Product Marketing plan in conjunction with EAH Center of Excellence “COE”; including but not limited to marketing through email, social media, YouTube, and influencer strategies.
  • Support our Product Marketing Strategy for Texas Speed & Performance (including our social brand voices, topics to cover on a regular and ad-hoc basis, and best ways to create social buzz around new product launches) to support existing and new product sales growth.
  • Day-to-day social media schedules (topics to be discussed, content to be posted), supporting the implementation of TSP’s social media strategy.
  • Coordinate with graphic design teams (TSP and COE) and content specialists to create attractive, engaging, and relevant content for new and existing products.
  • Define, track, and report on social media KPI’s on a weekly basis.
  • Overall management for the quality and quantity of all social media content.
  • Work with automotive community influencers to obtain publicity for our brands and parts.
  • Attend Texas Speed and Performance events to engage with customers and fans and leverage the live event to promote the brand through social media.
  • Post relevant content on major social media platforms and Automotive Forum sites. Engage with customers to answer questions in those groups.


Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:


Required:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years digital experience, particularly with, but not limited to, social media, web, and emerging technologies.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of content creation experience. This includes, but is not limited to, taking photos, shooting video content, and/or creating graphic design assets. Must be proficient in photography, videography, and graphic design.
  • Comfortable with and enjoys interacting with other members of the automotive community.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, business, or other related fields.
  • Should be comfortable on camera and interacting with members of the enthusiast community.
  • Strong analytical skills. Comfortable working with numbers and defining strategies to improve results.
  • Experience in the domestic, late model aftermarket performance industry (Chevrolet LS/LT, Ford, Coyote/Godzilla, and Hemi) strongly preferred.
  • Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Comfortable on camera for live social broadcasts (either from our facility or on location at a community event), as well as being on-camera to support TSP’s YouTube Channel. Screentests may be requested.


What Success Looks Like:

  • Social media strategy is well defined and includes measurable strategies to drive success against traffic and revenue goals.
  • New product releases have a “wow factor” and are engaging and visually appealing.
  • Social media calendar is scheduled out in advance for Texas Speed & Performance, across all platforms. Calendar reflects engaging content for the enthusiast community, mixed in with new product releases, brand building content, and other.
  • Regularly growing/improving social media leading indicators (fans, likes, shares, follows, engagement, etc.) and trailing indicators (revenue attributed to social media).
  • Highly structured updates provided to Marketing leadership team on a weekly basis - statistics, upcoming plans, strategies and action plans to drive improvement.
  • Strong working relationship with Product, R&D, and Marketing teams.
  • Established relationships with TSP influencer network and continuous growth to ensure influencer connections always support the business strategy.
