Marina Manager

The Marina Manager oversees daily operations, manages a dynamic team and ensure excellent service provided to boaters and guests. Ensuring the safety of employees and visitors is a top priority, with a focus on prompt incident reporting and workers' compensation accuracy. This role collaborates on facility maintenance, emphasizing a consistently safe and aesthetically pleasing environment. The Marina Manager will support the financial performance of the property through operational excellence, slip revenue and controlling expenses. A successful Marina Manager will be a detail oriented, posses strong leadership skills, and find passion in customer service.
- Coordinates and oversees the day-to-day operation of the marina
- Conducts operational audits and compliance tasks.
- Responsible for oversight of the teammates including interviewing, training, and development.
- Prioritize and uphold the safety of employees, customers, customer guests, tenants, and visiting clientele, ensuring the prompt and accurate filing of incident reports and workers' compensation injuries.
- Collaborate on the execution of maintenance tasks across the facilities, guaranteeing that the property and equipment are consistently maintained at a safe, acceptable, and aesthetically pleasing level.
- Demonstrate effective management skills and deliver an exceptional level of courteous sales and guest relations, employing a high level of diplomacy with customers, customer guests, tenants, and visiting clientele to consistently sustain and optimize satisfaction.
- Utilize social media and available technology to actively promote the marina, engaging with potential prospects. Employ the Company's marina management software to generate sales and occupancy reports, closely monitoring results.
- Engage proactively in the slip rental process, including the generation and monitoring of traffic, renting slips, qualifying prospects, preparing rental agreements, and completing move-in procedures in strict adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Assists the with the coordination, marketing, and management of all special events on property. Proactively seeks ways to promote the Marina to maximize its potential.
- Oversees the lease renewal program, managing the communication and notification process, and assisting with slip turnovers as necessary
- Supports the achievement of financial results through operational decisions, payroll and expense management, and slip revenue

**About You**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience with marina operations or hospitality preferable.
- Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in using office software and tools, including MS Office suite and database management systems.
- Knowledge of marina operations, boating regulations, and safety protocols (preferred).
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems proactively.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as per marina requirements.
