The Assistant Clinic Manager assists the Practice Administrator with the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring patient care is provided in an efficient and productive manner.  They support the clinic team in meeting established goals and objectives and collaboratively work with the Practice Administrator to maintain team productivity, support organizational initiatives, and ensure all departments are appropriately staffed.  The Assistant Clinic Manager works to build a positive atmosphere by being visible and available to the team and consistently demonstrating a positive attitude that reflects the highest regard for all patients, families, providers, and other team members. 

Required Skills and Abilities: 

  • Ability to organize workload and manage time effectively 

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and staff 

  • Ability to collaborate and develop partnerships across departments and with other organizations 

  • Ability to build a collaborative working environment and build staff morale 

  • Advanced computer skills 

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff 

  • Ability to handle sensitive information ethically and responsibly and to protect the confidentiality of patient, employee and business information
