equipment in a highly skilled, safe and professional manner. This position requires an employee to
possess a high degree of independent judgment. Must be able to effectively perform all duties of lower
level Technician’s. This position may specialize in the repair and maintenance of a specific category of
equipment.
Shift:
  • 7am-5pm

Pay:
  • $35

Description
  • Using high degree of independent judgment, responsible for the safe
    maintenance and repair of a variety of complex rental equipment, tools and
    vehicles at branch or customer locations involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic,
    gas, and diesel systems:
  • Ability to diagnose and repair all equipment in rental fleet appropriately
    utilizing schematics and diagnostic programs without supervision.
  • As assigned supervise, train and organize the work duties of other
    technicians in the department.
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Manufacturer sponsored training a plus
  • Trade school training preferred
  • Active applicable state class driver’s license
Other Skills Required
  • Must own tools applicable to position
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and customer service skills
  • Advanced knowledge of rental cycle
  • Working knowledge of company computer systems
  • Advanced knowledge of schematics and diagrams
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Advanced diagnostic and repair skills for a variety of systems
  • Advanced knowledge of heavy equipment; manufacturers’ warranty process; and work order/time spent accounting
  • Requires the ability to compile and communicate information accurately.
  • Assist peers in developing diagnostic skills and may perform both Technician II and III functions when necessary.
