WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: (Job Duties)
  • Supporting the day-to-day accounting function by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and other detailed analyses used in financial reporting;
  • Verifying, recording and ensuring all financial transactions are classified correctly in the proper accounts, departments, classes and other key reporting segments;
  • Applying accounting concepts and reviewing data from multiple sources to reconcile complex and multi-currency accounts including inventory, fixed assets, accruals, customer deposits, revenue, intercompanies, and due to/from third parties;
  • Collaborating with third party service providers to perform the above functions;
  • Working closely with other accounting team members to develop and continually improve processes, work papers, and other tools used for timely and efficient recording of financial information;
  • Preparing monthly consolidated reporting files
  • Leading variance analysis for monthly reporting
  • Supporting the preparation of our annual financial statements and other statutory filings as required for regulatory agencies;
  • Supporting the external audit including preparing audit schedules and leading discussions on assigned areas with internal management and auditor.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR: (Requirements)
  • Have 3 years’ experience in accounting, including public accounting experience with a Big 4/National public accounting firm.
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), active and good standing preferred
  • Have a thorough knowledge of GAAP accounting rules and processes.
  • Possess strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Have strong problem-solving skills.
  • Are easy to work with and can build strong relationships with a broad set of stakeholders.
  • Are highly organized, high degree of accuracy and detail-oriented.
  • Are proficient using Excel.
  • Can lead and mentor Staff Accountants
  • Work well under pressure.
