Position Overview: We are in search of a bilingual (English/Spanish) Field Superintendent with substantial experience and dedication to manage our construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess a complete background in construction management, especially in hardscaping or related fields, and demonstrate strong leadership skills with the capability to oversee multiple projects concurrently. You will coordinate all site activities, supervise field staff, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage construction projects from start to finish, collaborating with internal teams and external contractors.
  • Analyze project details to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations on all construction sites.
  • Supervise construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Select and manage tools, materials, and equipment, and oversee inventory.
  • Adhere to contractual performance conditions.
  • Review work progress on a daily basis.
  • Prepare and deliver internal and external reports on project status.
  • Anticipate potential issues and implement solutions.
  • Negotiate agreements, draft contracts, and secure necessary permits and licenses.
  • Maintain high construction quality standards and use proper techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in construction management or as a field superintendent.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, techniques, and methods.
  • Expertise in building materials, construction details, and relevant regulations and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with construction management software.
  • Strong planning skills with an ability to understand the "big picture."
  • Effective conflict and crisis management skills.
  • Leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Preferred: BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
