A rapidly growing food manufacturer located in Redmond, WA, is seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. The company prides itself on its innovative approach to manufacturing and its commitment to quality products. The Senior Accountant plays a pivotal role in the accounting of the company. This individual will be responsible for a blend of senior accounting duties and costing, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assist and participate with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports.
  • Conduct inventory valuation and manage physical inventory counts.
  • Support pricing decisions by providing detailed cost analysis and profitability reports.
  • Collaborate with production teams to develop and implement cost-effective processes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
  • Experience in manufacturing, retail, or similar industry
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
