We are looking for passionate individuals who are eager to work as part of a team dedicated to positively impacting the lives of our clients. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting patients with their rehabilitation journeys. This position is ideal for those interested in pursuing a career in physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, personal training, nutrition, or other health and wellness professions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work closely with patients throughout their Optimal Health journey
  • Create a welcoming and safe environment for patients to receive care
  • Assist and motivate patients in exercise programs
  • Set up and prepare exercise equipment
  • Observe and monitor patients during treatment
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of treatment rooms, clinic floor, and equipment
  • Scanning and maintaining patient documents in our EMR system
  • Perform administrative tasks such as checking in patients, scheduling appointments, and answering phone calls
  • Follow all facility and organizational policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Physical Therapists and support team

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Passion towards health and wellness
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Computer literate, experience with data entry preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Attendance and punctuality are critical
  • Effective time management skills
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and some Saturdays
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Customer service experience is a plus
