Credit & Collections Representative

If you are looking for an opportunity to contribute your skills and knowledge and be a part of the team, our client has an opportunity for a "self-motivated" Credit & Collections Representative.
Responsibilities
- Perform Business to Business Collections
- Ensure customer collections are received according to agreed payment terms
- Improve Days Sales according to company goals
- Ensure all past due accounts have been contacted while enforcing agreed payment terms
- Work with customers to schedule payment arrangements on upcoming and past due invoices
- Convert accounts to ACH/Checks from credit card payments as well as promote electronic invoicing
- Update account information to ensure contact and other required information is current
- Resolve any invoice discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure payment is received appropriately
- Communicate with field personnel to discuss any problem accounts/situations to meet a common goal
Salary: $30/ hr (long term contract)
Schedule: FT, 40 hours
Location: Redwood City, CA

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent - Required
- 3+ years of collections experience/ AR activities
- 3+ years of experience in Business to Business collections
- Previous experience with Oracle 12
- Proficient with MS Word and Excel
- Strong customer service skills -positive communication and phone demeanor
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Skills to be successful in this role - strong follow up skills, attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills, ability to search and organize outlook emails, create folders, and notate in Oracle
- Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
- The position is subject to passing a background check and drug screen
