MAG Industries is a rapidly growing wholesale business founded in the summer of 2020. Serving thousands of smoke shops, head shops, and convenience stores nationwide, we operate from our warehouse in Tyrone, PA. As a family-run enterprise, we prioritize exceptional customer service and aim to foster long-term relationships with our clients. This position is located in our Buckhannon, WV warehouse and will be a part-time production employee and a part-time driver. The goal of this position is to turn into a full-time driving position.
Location:
- Buckhannon, WV (On-site)
Pay:
- $14.00-16.00 per hour
- Weekly, Friday pay
Hours:
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (production hours)
- If you are scheduled to drive, hours vary from 6-8am. You drive until your deliveries are completed.
- If you are scheduled "off" as a driver, you are ON CALL
- Must have some availability to work overtime as needed
Report to:
- Plant Manager & Fleet Team Management
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport tobacco products from the distribution center to designated delivery locations using small cargo vans.
- Load and unload products onto and from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or loss.
- Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and timely delivery while considering traffic conditions, road closures, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure on-time delivery of products to customers, adhering to delivery schedules and meeting customer expectations.
- Verify delivery contents against shipping manifest or delivery order to ensure accuracy and completeness of orders before delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including courteous interaction with customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving any delivery-related issues promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of MAG products being transported and delivered, including brands, quantities, and any special handling requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition and reporting any issues or concerns to management.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery receipts, mileage logs, and any incidents or discrepancies encountered during deliveries.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for the safe operation of delivery vehicle, including proper use of seat belts, adhere to speed limits, and safe parking practices.
- Assist in inventory management tasks, such as stock replenishment, cycle counting, and reporting discrepancies.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate deliveries, provide updates on delivery status, and report any issues.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changes in delivery schedules, customer requests, or unforeseen circumstances that may arise, including when you are scheduled "off" through the week, you are on call.
- Represent MAG Industries Ltd. in a professional manner at all times, including maintaining a neat appearance, adhering to company policies and procedures, and upholding the company's reputation for quality service.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changes in production schedules, procedures, or equipment, and willingness to learn new tasks or skills as needed.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in the production environment, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors, including listening to instructions, asking questions for clarification, and reporting any concerns or issues.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Good driving skills, route navigation and time management.
- Reliability and Dependability: Demonstrated reliability and dependability in fulfilling job responsibilities, including showing up for scheduled shifts on time and completing assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Education/Experience:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in production and driving preferred.
