Midwest Remediation is hiring a Contents Manager in Indianapolis, IN.

Family-owned and operated since 1989, Midwest Remediation is central Indiana's trusted leader in restoration and clean-up. We help families and businesses recover from disastrous situations with our water and fire damage restoration, mold removal, and disaster and trauma cleanup services.

The Contents Manager will be responsible for:

  • Manage the contents department including sales and production of work.
  • Oversee hiring and maintaining a productive staff within the department.
  • Keep staff accountable for documentation, communication, and Dash efficiencies.
  • Ensure staff are working efficiently and monitor HC and KPIs for the department.
  • Maintain and develop new processes for the contents department.
  • Develop plans to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals for the department.
  • Monitor material usage cost, and ordering. Research alternatives to minimize spending.
  • Train PM's and hold them accountable for the responsibilities related to their position.
  • Monitor & approve Payroll and OT for the department.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and operational work environment.
  • Develop and maintain interdepartmental working relationships with the rest of the organization.
  • Ensure the monthly revenue and sales are adequate per the budget.

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience hiring and training employees within a contents department.
  • Ability to communicate and sell the contents process to homeowners, insurance agents, and adjusters.
  • Willingness to respond after normal operation hours for emergency services.
  • Ability to write estimates for contents related work.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Must have a positive attitude and a desire to help others.
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Motivation for personal and professional growth
  • Previous experience with inventory management systems
