Job Description: As a Retail Associate at Global Partners, you will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining the sales floor, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. You will play a key role in supporting store operations, achieving sales targets, and fostering a positive environment for both customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Assistance:

  • Greet customers warmly and offer assistance in finding products or answering questions.
  • Provide detailed product information and recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Assist customers with fitting room requests, product selections, and checkout processes.

Sales Support:

  • Achieve individual sales goals by actively promoting products and services.
  • Process transactions accurately, including handling cash, credit, and debit card payments.
  • Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise.

Store Maintenance:

  • Ensure that the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Participate in merchandising activities, such as setting up displays and arranging products.
  • Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or discrepancies to the management team.

Customer Service:

  • Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Resolve any issues or complaints, escalating them to the manager when necessary.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, fostering loyalty and repeat business.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth store operations.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge, store policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with special promotions, events, and seasonal sales as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in retail or related fields are a plus.
