Admissions Milieu Counselor

Arms Acres is looking for a motivated individual to join our Admissions team in Carmel, NY. In this role you will coordinate and perform all tasks required to prepare a patient for an admission. This includes greeting patients, ensures all bags are tagged and moved to storage room. The candidate will search all baggage, bags, purses, etc. and document findings on admissions search form. The position participates in reviewing patient handbook with patient, has patient sign forms, and introduces patient to wing member and/or case manager.


Available shifts: Full Time, 12-hour shifts: Sun- Tues, other Wed

Requirements:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with minimum 1 year related experience and/or training.
