What You Will Do:
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on facility equipment.
- Work with specialty service providers to coordinate and supervise maintenance of specialty equipment.
- Carry out maintenance tasks and special projects.
- Carry out inspections of the facility to identify and resolve issues.
- Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Monitor expenses / maintenance budget, equipment inventory, and place orders when necessary.
- Other duties assigned by upper management.
What You Will Bring:
- At least 3 years experience as a maintenance/repair associate required.
- Experience with electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Experience in a food production facility preferred, but not required.
- Licensed electrician preferred, but not required.
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Computer savvy (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Open availability / flexibility required.
- Experience in planning maintenance operations.
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of building maintenance and facilities equipment.
- Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus.
- Ability to consistently lift 35 - 50 lbs, unaided.
