PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This position combines with the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Banking Officer, Chief Credit Officer, and President to form the core decision making body of the bank and is responsible for bank operations through various areas.
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
- Participation in Strategic Planning w/ CEO, CFO, CBO and CCO
- Development of portions of Annual Budget
- Supervision of the Manager of Branch Facilities, including evaluation of new branch sites, overseeing Construction projects, and maintaining facilities contracts
- Coordination of Mergers and Acquisitions by participating in due diligence, evaluating operational contracts, managing the transition of the merger, and reviewing Facilities Insurance with CFO
- Management of Operations Committee schedule by establishing appropriate guidelines for procedural change, supervision of project management through committee, and reporting to Executive Management on status
- Supervision of Operations Department, including Loan Operations, Deposit Operations, Quality Control, Operations Committee, Electronic Banking, Disaster Recovery, MIS, and Imaging, thru capacity utilization analysis, reporting of data to management, and management of data processing, imaging, and quality control reports to management.
- Supervision of Information Technology Department thru knowledge regarding configuration of internal IT systems, knowledge of FiServ contract, knowledge of department work flow, understanding of and annual evaluation of IT budget for adherence with Strategic Plans, coordination of technology needs and financial benefit with sales division, evaluation of IT priority expenditures and product roll-outs participating in IT Steering Committee, remaining informed on newest product trends/supporting technology, acting as authority on significant contract negotiations, oversight and review of IT third party audit and management response
WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior operations position, with extensive experience in policies and procedures in financial institutions
- Strong management skills with ability to manage a group of highly trained personnel
- High-level analytical and communication skills
