Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center (LTYC) is located in the Baltimore/D.C area. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team on a part-time basis. As a beacon of hope for the youth in our community, we are committed to nurturing the potential of every young person who walks through our doors. Your role at LTYC will involve inspiring and empowering the leaders of tomorrow through mentorship, guidance, and educational programs. With a competitive hourly salary of $22 - $35, you will have the opportunity to impact the lives of youth, fostering growth, resilience, and success in a dynamic and supportive environment.

We have positions available from ($22-$35 per hour)

We are hiring for multiple locations. Metropolitan D.C. area and Baltimore metropolitan area. Please type in either Baltimore or Washington D.C. when filling out your application

Compensation:

$22 - $35 hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for students in accordance with educational standards.
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students, ensuring their well-being and success.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to foster a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive and enriching educational experience for students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance.
Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a related field
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in GSuite and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Flexibility in schedule, including weekends and evenings
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable personal vehicle

LTYC has been able to impact the lives of more than 160,000 students, ranging from grades K-12. Many of our students come from schools in Baltimore City and surrounding areas that are in dire need of arts education and behavioral intervention. Our arts education instruction includes dance, theater, music, visual arts, media arts, creative writing, STEAM, culinary arts, Yoga, martial arts, and gardening.
