The Director Adult Day Center Program is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Adult Day Center, including oversight of delivery of services and compliance with applicable North Carolina state guidelines and regulations.


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

1. Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.

2. Must be at least 18 years of age.

3. Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation. Must be able to meet EveryAge's auto insurance carrier's standards for coverage.

• Education: Minimum of two years of formal post-secondary education

Baccalaureate degree, preferably in a health-related field preferred, OR

High school diploma or equivalent and a combination minimum of five years’ experience and training in services to elderly or adults with disabilities.

Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aide certification required.

• Experience: Minimum of two years of work experience in supervision and administration.

Minimum of one year of experience working with frail, elderly, or disabled adults.
