This role is paid on an hourly basis, with a rate range of $14 - $17 per hour.

Who is the Marketing Intern?


The Marketing Intern will work primarily with our small SEO team, providing direct support on a number of key tasks to enhance the online visibility of our clients. This is an opportunity to gain tangible skills and experience while working side-by-side with a close-knit and collaborative team of experts.


Typical responsibilities may include:


  • Assisting in crafting compelling metadescriptions to improve click-through rates and enhance search engine visibility.
  • Optimizing technical site health by writing page titles, compressing images, and implementing other on-page SEO strategies.
  • Conducting keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization.
  • Collaborating with the team to develop and execute SEO strategies and provide support in tracking and analyzing website metrics.
  • Providing general production and administrative support as needed (things like file organization, proofreading, etc.)

What do You Need?


  • Associate's degree (or degree in progress) in Marketing, English/Writing, or related field.
  • Solid copywriting and editing skills.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow processes and instructions.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced digital marketing environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Please note: our team has flexibility in internship term and hours, and this can be decided in collaboration with candidate preference.

Leap Group has a footprint in the Midwest, with offices in Louisville, KY, Cincinnati, OH, and Indianapolis, IN. Candidates for this internship should be located in or near our Louisville office location.
