THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE AS A DC FLOAT

This full-time on-the-road direct care position works 40-hour weeks, Monday - Friday.

As a DC float, you play a crucial role in supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals. In this traveling position, you have the opportunity to work closely with clients on a one-on-one basis, teaching and assisting them with their individualized goals. Additionally, you step in and provide support to the DC caseloads as needed. Your responsibilities as a caregiver include overseeing the license holder's responsibilities outlined in each person's coordinated service and support plan, as well as the coordinated service and support plan addendum. Take necessary actions to ensure the outcomes outlined in the plan are accomplished in accordance with the requirements. Moreover, you provide instruction and assistance to the direct support staff, ensuring they effectively implement the coordinated service and support plan and achieve the desired service outcomes. You also evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery, methodologies, and progress on the person's outcomes based on measurable and observable criteria. OUR IDEAL DC FLOAT

• 1+ years of caregiving experience
• 18+ years old
• Ability to pass DHS background check
• Valid Driver's license
• Valid insurance

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR HIRE YOU MUST HAVE ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older
  
  
• Associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older
  
  
• Diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older
  
  
• Minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person
