Job Title: HVAC/R Service Manager

Job Description:

Client in HVAC services in Pinellas County for over 5 years, is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Service Manager to join our team. Our mission is to enhance our customers' quality of life through expert installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. We are a customer-centric company with a focus on care, professionalism, and growth. Excellence is not our goal it's our standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the quality of work performed by Service Technicians, ensuring it meets our high standards.
  • Ensure accurate and satisfactory completion and invoicing of all jobs.
  • Recommend and sell the right parts/equipment to meet customer needs.
  • Provide over-the-phone support to technicians for diagnosing and resolving HVAC issues.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs for residential and commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Comply with safety standards and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Communicate with customers to explain service options, provide estimates, and address questions.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and difficult service situations.
  • Train new technicians in the Poulin Cooling service approach.
  • Balance time between fieldwork and office tasks; some late days and on-call rotation for emergency calls are required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of HVAC experience.
  • EPA Universal Certification (Required).
  • Experience with residential, commercial, and refrigeration systems.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Ability to inspire and elevate team performance.
  • Computer literacy, and familiarity with Google Suite is a bonus.
  • Own tools for diagnosing HVAC systems; company vehicle and some specialty tools provided.
  • Strong preference for candidates living in or willing to relocate to Pinellas County, FL
