As our Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth trajectory of our firm with your expertise and insight.

This full-time position entails close collaboration with Firm Leadership, Shareholders, and Department Heads. Your responsibilities will encompass identifying and fulfilling both immediate and future staffing requirements. Leveraging a variety of channels, including social media and employee networks, you will adeptly source both active and passive candidates. Additionally, you will take the lead in implementing engaging employee retention strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Firm ambassador, building influential relationships with candidates and prospective candidates while promoting the Firm's strong community focus.
  • Research, design and implement recruiting strategies to address changing environments and markets.
  • Perform job and task analysis to determine job requirements and objectives; Develop and update job descriptions.
  • Prepare engaging recruiting material and aggressively source candidates.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods; Assess candidate knowledge, skill-set, experience and aptitude; Determine and champion best fit candidates.
  • Oversee interview/selection process of hiring managers; provide guidance and expertise to ensure best selections.
  • Assist with Firm on-boarding process.
  • Design and implement employee engagement programs, including team-building events, recognition initiatives, and wellness activities, to enhance work culture and morale.
  • Stay informed on engagement trends and analyze program effectiveness for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure clear communication about engagement initiatives and maintain collaboration across departments for successful execution.

Requirements and skills

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Academic background in a Business- or HR-related field preferred.
  • Minimum 4-years' work experience as a Recruiter, ideally in a law firm or other client service environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience using Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems, and Candidate Management Systems required.
  • Ability to conduct various types of interviews/selection processes preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill required; Strong decision-making skill required.
