Job Description:

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Teacher Aides to join our team in supporting our students' academic success in the areas of Math and English Language Arts (ELA). This position will work under the guidance of classroom teachers and administrators to provide individualized instruction, lead small group activities, and assist with classroom management.

Responsibilities:

  • Small Group Instruction: Lead small groups of students in Math or ELA activities, providing targeted instruction, practice, and reinforcement of concepts.
  • Individualized Learning: Assist individual students with assignments, projects, and assessments, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Classroom Support: Assist classroom teachers with daily routines, activities, and transitions. Prepare materials, set up learning stations, and maintain an organized and engaging learning environment.
  • Assessment and Data Collection: Assist with collecting data on student progress and providing feedback to teachers and administrators.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by the teachers and administration.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other staff
  • Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
  • Current IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
