Minden Medical Center is looking for a well-organized, detail oriented ORT ( Scrub Tech) to work full-time during the day shiftwith the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidates will have the ability to interact in a positive and compassionate manner with patients, co-workers, physician's and supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program OR Current LPN Licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Nursing required
  • If an ORT graduate, one year experience is preferred
  • If an LPN, one year of experience as a surgical tech is required
  • BLS through the American Heart Association required for LPN
  • BLS through the American Heart Association recommended for Surgical Technologist
  • All surgery technologist positions will take call (unless otherwise stated) and must be able to be at hospital within 30 minutes of being called in.
