PRN ORT

Minden Medical Center is looking for a well-organized, dedicated, ORT (Scrub Tech) with the ability to work PRN in a fast-paced environment in our Surgery Department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program or current student that will graduate within 3 months required; If an ORT graduate, one year experience is preferred; or
• Current LPN Licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Nursing required; If an LPN, one year of experience as a surgical tech is preferred;
• For an ORT; BLS through the American Heart Association is preferred;
• For an LPN; BLS through the American Heart Association is required.

** All surgery technologist positions will take call (unless otherwise stated) and must be able to be at hospital within 30 minutes of being called in.**
