We are excited to invite a passionate, organized, creative Associate Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role you'll work with Design Merchandiser and technical team to bring this contemporary brand to life.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Research and aid in the design and develop of womens young contemporary brand
  • Categories will include dresses, woven tops and bottoms, and some athleisure
  • Designing item-based collections so that product stands on its own but also works within a merchandised group and fits the brand's DNA
  • Research Trends, Fabrics, Trims
  • Elevate and Upgrade existing styles
  • Assist in Graphic Design
  • Generate innovative new color combinations
  • Create Mood Boards and Presentations

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experiencein Women's apparel
  • Ideal candidate should have knowledge of current trending Women's Brands and emerging trends in fabric, style and color.
  • Assist in seasonal development as well as the ability to work on special projects.
  • Experience designing for or working with off price stores a plus.
  • Ability to create and provide detailed tech packs.
  • Must have excellent sketching ability in Illustrator.
  • Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop. Excel experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of fabric/yarn/trim.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others and cross-functional teams.
