The Position:
The IT Administrator is responsible for maintaining the operational readiness of all IT hardware and software as well as communicating the status of the IT infrastructures to the appropriate people. The Onsite IT position supports staff by ensuring training on IT matters, and this position ensures that the network is usable by looking for issues and correcting them in a timely manner or updating the system to avoid issues in the first place.
- Maintain the phone system, local area networks and the internet, to be operational at all times.
- Analyze system and application efficiency, look for improvements or deficiencies and report to superiors.
- Perform installation, de-installation and daily performance of the truck mounted camera systems.
- Implement, maintain, and administer all IT related equipment, anti-virus, software, servers, firewalls, and switches.
- Create and maintain accounts including emails, web portals, and external vendors.
- Monitor digital systems to ensure the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, and system processes.
- Conduct routine audits to ensure that critical systems are working properly and to correct deficiencies found.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school required.
- Preferred fields of study include IT Administration, Cyber Security, or Network Operation.
- 5-6+ years of experience in an Information Technology role or field required.
