Seeking a Junior network engineer who is seeking to grow in a transparent infrastructure team allowing for growth while expecting adherance to practice, policy and procedure.

Responsibilities
- Supporting and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure under the guidance of senior network administrators or network engineers.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updating firmware, applying patches, and ensuring proper configuration of network devices
- Identify and troubleshoot network connectivity issues, latency problems, and other network-related problems.
- Work with end-users to diagnose and resolve network-related problems in a timely manner.
- Assist in the configuration, installation, and deployment of network hardware and software components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Assist in implementing and maintaining network security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and access control
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other networking equipment commonly used in enterprise environments
- Understanding of common network protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, and others.
- Basic knowledge of network security principles including authentication, encryption, VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Familiarity with common operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Unix, including basic command-line usage and configuration.
- Knowledge of different network topologies
- Ability to create and maintain network documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, vendors, and end-users.
Direct Experience in any of the below is a plus.

Certifications
While not required, certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent demonstrate a commitment to learning and can enhance a candidate's qualifications
