Gretchen's House Child Care Centers are now accepting applications for a PART-TIME ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT.

This is a 20 hour/week position. Flex and hybrid scheduling options available after 90 days of employment.

Pay rate: $20/hour

Purpose: To support the finance department by performing a variety of financial management tasks.

Requirements

• Associate degree in accounting preferred

• 1 to 3 years of experience in bookkeeping

• Knowledge of QuickBooks is strongly preferred

• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an organized filing system for invoices and records

• Review and reconcile daily ACH and banked deposits

• Manage the accounts payables process

• Manage the credit card reconciliation process

• Provide general administrative support to the finance department and general administration as needed.
