Reports to: Laser Supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for running and maintaining the Brake Press.

  • Ability to form parts according to print.
  • Ability to set up and operate a brake press.
  • Ability to spot any flaws in material before being placed on the laser machine.
  • Trouble shoot any issues that may arise with the machine.
  • Follow instructions per customers order for correct quantity and material sizes.
  • Measuring parts with a dial caliper or tape measure.
  • Clean work area to Company standards.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills - This employee will be required to communicate with other employees in their department.
  • Teamwork - Each employee in this area is required to work with other team members.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience with Sheet Metal and Brake Press machines preferred.
  • Ability to read Blue Prints or aptitude to learn.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to bend and stoop during shift.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.
  • Must be able to bend and stoop during shift.
