The Quality Manager will be responsible for all aspects of ISO 9001 quality systems for Card-Monroe Corporation (CMC) and Card-Monroe Automation (CMA), with locations in Greenville, SC and Chattanooga, TN. The quality manager will work closely with leadership in both businesses, to implement, sustain, and improve quality processes and systems.

Reports to: VP of Operations

Responsibilities:

• Drive maturation of quality processes and systems within the Card-Monroe organization and lead the teams through certification and recertification activities.

• Work with leadership to outline quality improvement plans and determine resource requirements to ensure success.

• Lead CMC through initial certification efforts.

• Plan and facilitate internal, customer, and 3rd party surveillance/recertification audits.

• Implement systems and processes to sustain improvements and drive discipline and accountability within our quality system.

• Work with teams to improve and/or create quality policies and procedures to meet the quality objectives of the business and our customers.

• Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment, both incoming and outgoing.

• Ensure that products adhere to quality standards and requirements.

• Lead non-conformance evaluation and corrective action review teams.

• Facilitate root cause analysis and develop problem solving capabilities of the teams.

• Coach and develop team members throughout the business on best practices and behaviors to cultivate a quality culture within the organization.

• Implement key metrics to demonstrate quality performance and progress.

• Work closely with project managers and functional leaders across the business to ensure delivery of projects on time to customer quality requirements.


Requirements:

• Follow all environmental, health, and safety policies and regulations.

• Enforce compliance with established quality policies and procedures.

• Experience working in or leading an ISO 9001:2015 (or equivalent) quality management system.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be able to lead through influence and succeed by getting work done through others.

• May be required to travel up to 25% - primarily to other Card-Monroe locations.


Minimum Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in quality or a relevant technical field Minimum Previous Experience:

• 5+ years of experience leading and implementing quality processes in a production environment; OEM or custom equipment manufacturing is preferred Other Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 (or comparable) is required

• Knowledge of TQM, Lean, Six Sigma, or other core quality systems

• Proficient in the use of computers, email, and cell phone to communicate
