We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in scaling our infrastructure and enhancing our deployment processes.

Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer at our startup, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to streamline our deployment processes and ensure seamless integration across our cloud environments. Your expertise in AWS, GCP, Terraform, and Kubernetes will be vital to driving our infrastructure automation and cloud strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions on AWS and GCP, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Automation: Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
  • Container Orchestration: Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline code deployment and integration processes.
  • Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource usage to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
  • Security: Ensure best practices in security and compliance for cloud environments and containerized applications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and product teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and application performance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with a strong background in AWS and experience with GCP.
  • Cloud Platforms: Deep knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and experience with GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes Engine).
  • Infrastructure as Code: Expertise in using Terraform for infrastructure automation and management.
  • Containerization: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
  • CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
  • Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and logging solutions (e.g., ELK Stack).
  • Security: Knowledge of best practices for cloud security and compliance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or equivalent certifications.
  • Networking: Understanding of network protocols and concepts, including VPC, VPN, and load balancing.
  • Agile Practices: Experience working in Agile development environments.
