Job Summary
Alfa Insurance billing service representatives are team players that take exceptional pride in the company they represent. They provide excellent customer service to our customers, home office personnel and to our field sales force by answering billing questions and processing changes and requests as needed. We provide on-the-job training to our billing service representatives to help you be successful in your role as you begin your career and throughout.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Candidate must be a team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional billing service to our field force, home office, and customers.
  • Maintain customer billing accounts by working daily reports, updating payers, changing due dates, changing pay plans, etc. within 8 working hours to keep all accounts accurate.
  • Set up EFT, process payer changes, transfer monies, process reinstatement, process policy plan changes, and process dishonored items.
  • Answer telephone, e-mails, and footprint tickets in an efficient and timely manner.
