CareArc is accepting applications for a full-time, Patient Account Specialist. This position is responsible for identifying delinquent accounts and notifying patients of the delinquent account(s) by mail and telephone to solicit payment.
Primary Functions
- Contacting patients with delinquent accounts by telephone and mail.
- Establish and manage payment arrangements/payment contracts for patients.
- Receiving and posting payments to patient accounts.
- Answering patient questions in regard to billing, collections, and sliding fee discount services.
- Assist billing office with various tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Positive attitude
- Team player
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
