Patient Account Specialist

CareArc is accepting applications for a full-time, Patient Account Specialist. This position is responsible for identifying delinquent accounts and notifying patients of the delinquent account(s) by mail and telephone to solicit payment. 


Primary Functions


  • Contacting patients with delinquent accounts by telephone and mail.
  • Establish and manage payment arrangements/payment contracts for patients.
  • Receiving and posting payments to patient accounts.
  • Answering patient questions in regard to billing, collections, and sliding fee discount services.
  • Assist billing office with various tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications


  • High School graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Positive attitude
  • Team player
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
