About the role

We are looking for a driven and proactive Project Manager to join us as a Contractor for the next six months. As a Project Manager, you will manage the scope of work, resources, budget, and schedule. You will monitor projects from initiation through delivery and interface with internal team members. Primary Responsibilities

  • Have Full Responsibility and Accountability for the Project deliverables and outcomes
  • Organize project activities and interdepartmental meetings; ensure communication facilitates completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints
  • Define project roles and responsibilities and lead the project planning activities - direct the creation, approval, and enforce ongoing change control of the project plan
  • Perform detailed project tracking, recognize when problems occur, bring the right people together to solve them with the proper sense of urgency
  • Manage to project priorities and perform risk management
  • Drive ownership of decisions
  • Collaborate and build relationships across the organization
  • Develop a detailed project plan, budget, and task management to achieve task order objectives
  • Provide status on progress toward objectives to management and team members
  • Manage deliverables to/from and oversee communication with suppliers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Highly proficient with MS Project and Project Online Server
  • Excellent understanding of the business case and cost-benefit analysis
  • Strong knowledge of product life management and toll gate methodology
  • Experience with New Product Introduction/Development
  • Experience creating project charters, business plans, developing a WBS, identifying stakeholders and creating the Project Plan
  • Familiar with RACI matrix and understand how to perform stakeholder analysis and management.
  • Exceptional oral communication and formal presentation skills and a demonstrated ability to establish excellent internal and external customer relationships
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team with initiative, creativity, and innovation
  • Excellent program/project management skills and experience managing subcontractors and/or suppliers
  • High level of business and financial acumen, with proven ability to manage scope and budget
  • Exceptional management and leadership skills and ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner

  • Engineering background
  • Experience working in Aerospace/Automotive/Electronics work environment

Duration:

  • 6 months
  • Monday - Friday
  • 40 hours per week


Location

  • Applicants must be willing and able to commute to magniX's location in Everett, Washington. Relocation is not offered for this role.

This position's hourly range is $52-67 per hour, depending on experience and education.
