Position Overview

As a Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) Engineer, you will be integral to the NDE/metallurgical laboratory inspection team, ensuring the quality of mining and construction equipment and components. Your role involves hands-on support in industrial fabrication production and processes, including various inspection methods like Ultrasonic Testing, Phased Array UT, Radiography, Visual Testing of welds, and Magnetic Particle inspection. You will also engage in creating and maintaining inspection standards, procedures, and quality metrics, and monitoring audit data integrity in an ISO certified environment. The role requires up to 25% travel for inspection responsibilities and supplier audits.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience Required

  • Associate of Applied Science in Nondestructive Testing Technology or equivalent certifications.
  • AWS CWI Certification (preferred)
  • 3+ years of previous experience (preferred)

Technical Skills Required

  • UT Ultrasonic Testing
  • UTPA Ultrasonic Testing Phased Array
  • RT Radiography Testing
  • VT Visual Testing/Inspection of welds
  • MT Magnetic Particle Testing/Inspection
