Come work as a member of the amazing School Based Services team Behavioral Coaches provide direct care, supervision, monitoring, and mental health interventions to students in a specialized school-based setting. They work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide individualized treatment to children with mental health and behavior issues. This position must work closely with special ed teachers to implement IEP goals and therapists to address treatment plan goals. Additionally, behavior coaches serve as role models for children teaching classroom skills, manners, safe ways to express feelings, utilize coping skills, appropriate behavior, and social skills.

  • Maintains therapeutic boundaries
  • Builds relationships with children who struggle with emotional dysregulation

Requirements:

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION and LICENSURE

· High School Diploma or GED required.

· At least two years of experience working with emotionally disturbed youth; providing direct services in a human services field; or post-secondary education in human services.

Salary Description
