Regional Partner Attorney

Haverhill Management represents a nationwide Estate Planning law firm that is searching for a Regional Partner Attorney. Ideal candidates will have an existing book of business in the $250,000 to $500,000 range and invested in taking our firm to the next level.  This position offers the opportunity to increase your client base without being a sole practitioner. You will have access to comprehensive support services that include client billing, legal marketing, technology support, and accounting. As Regional Partner Attorney you will have the opportunity to work in a leadership role overseeing the work of attorneys who are providing legal representation. You will help make employment decisions, handle performance management, and develop employees. You will review, supervise, and provide feedback on the work product of attorneys. Responsibilities:

  • Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced directives for health care.
  • Advise clients regarding retirement plans, charitable giving, and tax planning.
  • Oversee local office business operations, communicating and enforcing team values, and contributing to regional business decisions to achieve our overall company goals.
  • Ensure that the local office is achieving its short-term and long-term goals and client satisfaction by evaluating productivity and quality of service and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate as part of the company’s management team that ensures delivery of excellence with Regional Managers and Managing Attorney’s.
  • Assist in hiring and training process of the Managing Attorney’s on the basics of Estate Planning, complimentary consultation, sales, design meeting, and signings.
  • Assist Regional Manager to conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Ensures the quality of all Managing Attorneys cases in the region.
  • Attend client meetings on more sophisticated client matters.
  • Responsible for ongoing legal training after launch of offices, career mentoring of Managing Attorneys.
  • Responsible for drafting all Estate Planning and Probate templated documents for assigned jurisdiction.
  • Receive internal and external referrals for Probate, Trust Administration, advanced case work from local offices in the region.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Clio, Wealthcounsel, or similar platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Juris Doctor degree.
  • Must be admitted to practice in GA (good standing).
  • Minimum 10 years of practice in Estate Planning area.
